QuantSeq libraries are intended for a high degree of multiplexing. Indices are introduced as standard external barcodes during the Endpoint PCR amplification step.
Up to 96 6 nt i7 indices are included in the single indexing kits (Cat. No.s 015, 016). For dual indexing there are 96 available 6 nt indices. The Lexogen i5 6 nt Dual Indexing Add-on Kits are required for 6 nt dual indexing.
For streamlined Unique Dual Indexing (UDI), QuantSeq FWD is available in convenient bundles including up to 384 pre-mixed Lexogen 12 nt UDIs (Cat. No. 113.96, 114.96, 129.96, 130.96, 131.96, and 115.384).
Multiplexing QuantSeq libraries with other library types in the same sequencing lane is not recommended. For further information, please see FAQ 28
Lexogen’s 12 nt UDIs are also available as stand-alone Add-on Kits (indices and PCR reagents), or Index Sets (indices only) for use with QuantSeq REV, QuantSeq-Flex, and QuantSeq-Pool library prep kits.
