The Libraries prepared with the QuantSeq 3' mRNA-Seq REV kit is appropriate for use on require a Custom Sequencing Primer Version 5 (CSPV5), for Read 1 sequencing. Therefore, REV libraries can be sequenced on all illumina platforms that support the use of custom sequencing primers for read 1.
These platforms include: NextSeq 500 / 550, NextSeq 2000, HiSeq 2000 / 2500 / 3000 / 4000, HiSeq 3000, HiSeq 4000, GAIIX, NovaSeq 6000, and MiSeq instruments.
QuantSeq REV libraries should also be are not compatible with the iSeq 100 , MiniSeq, NextSeq 2000 and NovaSeq 6000 platforms, providing custom sequencing primer use is supported. However, we do instrument, as this platform does not support the use of custom sequencing primers.
ATTENTION! Some instruments or reagent versions require the use of additional custom index primer(s) for dual indexing workflows, if a Read 1 custom sequencing primer is used. Please see this FAQ on What is the CSP and how do I use it? and always consult the Illumina Custom Sequencing Primer guide for the relevant instrument.
