The main difference is the introduction of an updated PCR system in the new V2 kit compared to V1.The The PCR Add-on and Reamplification Kit V2 (Cat. No. 208) includes a new and improved PCR system and combines the functions of the PCR Add-on Kit (Cat. No. 020) and the Reamplification Add-on Kit (Cat. No. 080) in one single kit.
In the V2 Kit, the PCR Mix “PM” and the PCR enzyme Mix “PE” replace the PCR Mix “PCR” and the Enzyme Mix “E” provided with of the PCR Add-on Kit. For the qPCR assay, in the V2 kit, Additionally, both primers used for qPCR (“P7” and “P5”) are now provided separately (they are not included in the PCR Mix), allowing for a universal use of the kit. For the library reamplification, the V2 Reamplification primer Mix “RE” replaces the i7 reamplification Primer “i7-RE” includeed included in the V1 kitKit.
NOTE: With the updated PCR system, a new PCR program has also been implemented. Please refer to the UserGuide p6 for respective User Guide for details.

When using libraries prepared with previous versions of QuantSeq and CORALL library prep kits, please refer to the PCR Add-on kit (see table below).
