WORKING_COPY: What is the difference between the PCR Add-on Kit (Cat. No. 020) and the new version PCR Add-on and Reamplification Kit V2 (Cat. No. 208)?

The main difference is the introduction of an updated PCR system in the new V2 kit compared to V1.

The PCR Mix “PM” and the PCR enzyme Mix “PE” replace the PCR Mix “PCR” and the Enzyme Mix “E” provided with the PCR Add-on Kit.

For the qPCR assay, in the V2 kit, both primers “P7” and “P5” are provided separately for a universal use of the kit.

For the library reamplification, the Reamplification primer Mix “RE” replaces the i7 reamplification Primer “i7-RE” included in the V1 kit.

NOTE: With the updated PCR system, a new PCR program has also been implemented. Please refer to the UserGuide p6 for the qPCR assay and p12 for the library reamplification for specific details.

IMPORTANT: The new PCR Add-on and Reamplification kit V2 is not recommended for qPCR with older kit version of QuantSeq and CORALL products. When using libraries prepared with previous versions of QuantSeq and CORALL library prep kits, please refer to the PCR Add-on kit (Cat.No.020) for qPCR assay or endpoint PCR.
