SIRV-Sets and Design

SIRV RNA is spiked into samples prior to RNA Extraction, or into total RNA prior to pre-processing or library preparation. Tracking SIRV detection in sequencing data provides feedback on the technical consistency between samples, and/or between experiments.

The 4 SIRV-Sets contain a different range of spike-in transcripts, and can serve difference applications as outlined in the table below.
