How can I increase my final yield?
To achieve a higher nucleic acid concentration, the amount of FFPE Lysis Buffer can be reduced from 110 μL to a minimum of 70 μL. This is beneficial for samples with a small total surface area. When reducing the amount of lysis buffer, please scale down proportionally the volumes of the other reagents. Please keep in mind that scaling down may also result in more difficult handling and lower yields especially if the FFPE sample contains excess paraffin.
If the volume of FFPE Lysis Buffer is reduced, please ensure that at least 50 μL is applied to the Spin Column.
