Since FFPE samples are prone to gDNA carry-over, it is recommended to perform a DNase treatment prior to library preparation.
When using CORALL FFPE, there are two options for DNase treating FFPE samples:
DNA Removal Add-on Module (Cat. No. 235) - instructions for utilizing this module in the CORALL FFPE workflow are provided in our User Guide (p. 9). Following DNA Removal, the final volume can be directly input into RiboCop.
SPLIT One-Step FFPE RNA Extraction Kit (Cat. No. 236) - a 15 minute DNase treatment is seamlessly included during RNA Extraction.
