Yes!

When using the sample creation option (Button “sample create”) in the project tab:

  • Define the name of the sample

  • Select the FASTQ file reads that need to be merged. Please only select the FASTQ files to merge!

  • Enter the sample condition, if needed (required)

  • Click on “create sample”

The newly created sample appears in the Sample widget. The sample name, the FASTQ files (Read1 and Read2, if needed) and the sample Condition corresponding to the sample are displayed. Sample editing after sample creation is possible by clicking on the pencil icon.

When using the bulk sample creation option (button “Bulk-create new Samples”), in the sample file use the same sample name (column Sample_name) for all the FASTQ files that need to be merged, and ONLY for the FASTQ files to merge.

Do not use the same sample name for different FASTQ files that need to be analyzed as separate samples.
