The UMI module can also be used for preparing QuantSeq-Flex libraries, as long as random priming is used for second strand synthesis.
For use with QuantSeq-Flex, the UMI Second Strand Synthesis Mix (USS) replaces the Second Strand Synthesis Mix 1 (SS1) from the standard QuantSeq kit at step 7.
