No. SIRV dilutions should be considered as single-use only and should not be freeze-thawed. We do not recommend storing SIRV dilutions as the risk of degradation and adsorption to the tube increases over time, even with optimal storage at or below -20 degrees Celsius. For this reason we recommend to aliquot the SIRV stock solutions upon first use into 1 ul volumes, and store at or below -20 degrees until needed. Best practice is to prepare and use SIRV dilutions immediately (within), keeping the stock and dilutions continuously on ice, and using careful RNase-free handling technique, to minimize the risk of degradation. Please see the SIRV User Guides (Kit Components and Storage, and Preparation chapters) for specific guidelines for handling SIRV dilutions.
