How should I QC my final RNA?
We recommend quantifying final RNA using Qubit™ when possible. Qubit™ can be advantageous when dealing with FFPE samples as RNA can be limiting and the sensitivity of the Qubit™ can be as low as 10 pg/ml. Additionally, Qubit™ utilizes reagents which specifically bind to the nucleic acid of interest (i.e., RNA) so concentrations are not influenced by the presence of other contaminants.
